For the safety of our members and our employees, 1st Bergen branches will reopen at 10am on Tuesday, January 27th.

Due to the impacts of Winter Storm Fern, 1st Bergen will be closed on Monday, January 26th and delay opening on Tuesday January 27th.

Please note the following adjustments to our services:

1. Deposits made in the night-drop deposit box will be processed on Tuesday, January 27 at 10am

2. Mobile deposits and Wire Transfers may be delayed.

3. ATM withdrawals may be made for no fee at Allpoint ATMs . Cash Deposits can be made at select Allpoint+ ATMs.

We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our members and employees. Please contact us via email if payment flexibility or other accommodations are needed to due this unexpected closure, or by phone on Tuesday, January 27th.

Beginning on October 13th, 2025, 1st Bergen will change Member Services hours:

Mondays: 9am to 4pm
Tuesdays: 9am to 4pm
Wednesdays: 9am to 1pm
Thursdays: 9am to 6pm
Fridays: 9am to 4pm

The Hackensack Branch lobby will have the same adjusted hours. Members may make deposits after hours in the Night Drop for next day processing. Limited appointments for member services will be available on Wednesdays from 1pm-4pm.

Beginning on October 1st, the Toms River Branch will have a new location, hours, and direct phone number.

The Toms River Branch at O.C.E.A.N. Inc, previously at 40 Washington Street in Toms River, has moved to 40 Main Street in Toms River. Branch hours are Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9am to 4pm. The branch can now be reached directly at (732) 889-5355. Please call the Main branch at (201) 968-0202 or email membersupport@1stbergen.com for other member support needs.
